This Saturday sees the UFC return to Cleveland, Ohio in a tough card with some really hard to call fights. However, Will Burns has selected a few tips for this one. Good luck if you are betting but please remember… Anything can happen in the cage!
Saturday 10th August 2016
UFC 203
Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH.
CM PUNK (0-0) v MICKEY GALL (2-0)
(Welterweight Division)
If you have read any tipster saying go large on Mickey Gall to win this fight – delete their Twitter account, remove the bookmark to their website and well just wipe them from your brain as they cannot be trusted.
This fight is a 50/50 fight! There is no reason for CM Punk to be valued at the price he has. I suggest you go small on CM Punk at a stupidly priced 7/2. It’s crazy! Anything can happen in this fight. Anyone can win. Nobody knows nothing about either guy and if this Punk is victorious you will not see/hear me pumping up my knowledge of MMA.
I am simply picking this bet due to overgrossed price and NOTHING ELSE! Go small if you bother at all.
TIP: CM Punk to win (0.5PTS placed on 4.50 at Bet365)
YANCY MEDERIOS (12-4) v SEAN SPENCER (12-5)
(Welterweight Division)
This fight is featured on the Fight Pass so remember to get your bet on before midnight BST. I cannot look past Yancy Mederios winning this fight. Last time out he featured in one of the best MMA fights in recent memory – a decision loss to Francisco Trinaldo. However, the result does not tell the full story.
Both fighters absorbed shot after shot after shot and survived knockdowns and both looked unstoppable. Mederios’ striking defense is awful but he can take a shot. He can also dish out the punishment and I see him winning this fight by KO due to Sean Spencer’s poor chin.
Spencer is a dangerous striker but I fail to see Mederios being finished. If it goes the distance, I see Spencer possibly taking a decision but I feel that the Hawaiian finishing it before the final bell.
Yancy Mederios to win is a great 18/25 with Bet365 here if you want to play it safer.
TIP: Mederios to win via KO, TKO, Disqualification or Submission (2PTS placed at 2.75 at Bet365)
There is hardly anything I really want to lay on the line on this card but if you are looking to make a decent profit without the risk of the above two bets – have a look below at our (less-risky) Banker treble!

C.B. Dolloway to win (1.53)
