After clinching a late win against the Czech Republic, Spain travel to Nice on Friday night to take on Turkey where Will Burns thinks another late victory could be on the cards.

EURO 2016 – GROUP D
SPAIN v TURKEY
It was a case of better late than never for Spain on Monday afternoon as Gerard Pique headed home a 87th minute winner for Vicente del Bosque’s side. Their domination of the Czechs was frightening but Petr Cech stopped every attempt on goal before Pique’s clinical header.
On Friday evening they face Turkey who fell to an opening game defeat to Croatia, who themselves were dominating. We could see a repeat performance in this one. Turkey coach Fatih Terim said that his team had to work harder as they try to rescue their Euro 2016 campaign. A point against Spain would put them in good stead to go up against Czech Republic in Lens next Tuesday but they have to understand that they have to improve drastically if they are not to go straight home after three games.
Terim has demanded more from star players Arda Turan and Hakan Calhanoglu in the press after Sunday’s game. He also criticised many others in the first-team demanding that they give more over the next two games.
I see Spain winning this by a narrow margin and do not be surprised if Spain get off to a slow start again, leaving it late before scoring. Draw at half-time with Spain going on to win is valued at 16/5 at BetVictor and this looks a very good bet.
TIP: Draw HT/Spain FT (4.20 at BetVictor)
TIP: Correct Score – Spain 1-0 Turkey (6.50 at BetVictor)
